அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு தன் தகப்பனை நோக்கி: நான் உமது மூத்தமகனாகிய ஏசா; நீர் எனக்குச் சொன்னபடியே செய்தேன்; உம்முடைய ஆத்துமா என்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி, நீர் எழுந்து உட்கார்ந்து, நான் வேட்டையாடிக்கொண்டுவந்ததைப் புசியும் என்றான்.
