ஒருவரை ஒருவர் நோக்கி: இதோ, சொப்பனக்காரன் வருகிறான்,

அவன் தன் குற்றபரிகாரப் பலியை ஆசாரியனிடம் கொண்டு வரவேண்டும். அது மந்தையிலிருந்து தேர்ந்தெடுத்த ஆடாயிருக்க வேண்டும். எல்லாவிதத்திலும் குறையற்றதாக இருக்கவேண்டும். ஆசாரியன் சொல்லும் விலைக்கு ஏற்றதாக அது இருக்கவேண்டும். அது கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்த வேண்டிய குற்ற பரிகாரப் பலியாகும்.
