સુલેમાંન રાજાએ 22,000 બળદ અને 1,20,000 ઘેટાં અને બકરાં યહોવાને શાંત્યર્પણો તરીકે અર્પણ કર્યા. આમ રાજાએ અને ઇસ્રાએલી લોકોએ મંદિરને પવિત્ર કાર્ય માંટે અર્પણ કર્યુ.
