દાઉદ અને તેના માંણસો ગશૂરીઓ, ગિઝીર્ઓ, અને અમાંલેકીઓના પ્રદેશમાં ધાડ પાડવા નીકળી પડતા. એ લોકો જૂના જમાંનાથી શૂર અને મિસર સુધીના પ્રદેશમાં વસતા હતા.
