1 Kings 20:1
અરામના રાજા બેન-હદાદે પોતાનું બધું લશ્કર ભેગું કર્યું અને બત્રીસ રાજાઓને તથા ઘણા ઘોડાઓ અને ઘોડાના રથોને પોતાની સાથે લીધાં. તેણે સમરૂનને ઘેરી લઈ તેના પર હુમલો કર્યો.

| with | וּשְׁנַ֥יִם | ûšĕnayim | oo-sheh-NA-yeem |
| him, and horses, | מֶ֛לֶךְ | melek | MEH-lek |
| and chariots: | אִתּ֖וֹ | ʾittô | EE-toh |
| up went he and | וְס֣וּס | wĕsûs | veh-SOOS |
| and besieged | וָרָ֑כֶב | wārākeb | va-RA-hev |
| וַיַּ֗עַל | wayyaʿal | va-YA-al | |
| Samaria, | וַיָּ֙צַר֙ | wayyāṣar | va-YA-TSAHR |
| and warred | עַל | ʿal | al |
