અરામના રાજાએ પોતાના રથદળના બત્રીસ સરદારોને આજ્ઞા આપી હતી કે, તેઓએ બીજા કોઈની સાથે નહિ પણ માંત્ર રાજા આહાબની સામે જ યુદ્ધ કરવું.

તેઓએ ખરે બપોરે કૂચ કરી ત્યારે બેન-હદાદ તેના તંબૂમાં તેના 32 રાજાઓ સાથે જેઓએ તેની સાથે જોડાણ કર્યુ હતું તેમની સાથે દ્રાક્ષારસ પીવામાં ચકચૂર હતો.

બેન-હદાદના માંણસોએ આને શુભ શુકન માંની લઈ તરત જ તેના શબ્દો પકડી લઈ કહ્યું, “જી, બેન-હદાદ આપના ભાઈ છે.”આહાબે કહ્યું, “જાઓ, તેને લઈ આવો.”પછી બેન-હદાદ બહાર આવ્યો અને આહાબે તેને પોતાના રથમાં બેસાડ્યો.
