પછી યોનાથાને ગેબામાંના પલિસ્તી સેનાપતિને માંરી નાખ્યો અને પલિસ્તીઓએ આના વિશે સાંભળ્યું. પછી શાઉલે તેના સૈનિકોને ધરતીના એક છેડાથી બીજા છેડા સુધી રણસિંગુ ફૂકવા કહ્યું અને કહ્યું, “ભલે હિબ્રૂ લોકો આ સમાંચાર સાંભળે.”
