પલિસ્તીઓ યહૂદાના લોકો સાથે લડવા તૈયાર થયા અને યહૂદામાં સોખોહ આગળ ભેગા થયા, સૈન્ય ભેગુ થયું અને સોખોહ અને અઝેકાહ વચ્ચે છાવણી નાખી, એફેસ દામ્મીમ બોલાવાતા એક શહરેમાં.

| pitched and | וַֽיַּחֲנ֛וּ | wayyaḥănû | va-ya-huh-NOO |
| between | בֵּין | bên | bane |
| Shochoh | שׂוֹכֹ֥ה | śôkō | soh-HOH |
| and Azekah, | וּבֵין | ûbên | oo-VANE |
