પરંતુ મનાશ્શાએ યહૂદાના અને યરૂશાલેમનાં વતનીઓને ગેરમાગેર્ દોર્યા, જેથી તેમણે યહોવાએ ઇસ્રાએલીઓને ખાતર જે પ્રજાઓનું નિકંદન કાઢયું હતું તેમના કરતાં પણ ભૂંડા કાર્યો કર્યા.

to do לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת ʿāśâ ah-SA
worse רָ֔ע raʿ ra
than מִן min meen
the heathen, הַ֨גּוֹיִ֔ם gôy ɡoy
whom אֲשֶׁר֙ ʾăšer uh-SHER
had destroyed הִשְׁמִ֣יד šāmad sha-MAHD
the Lord יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
before מִפְּנֵ֖י pānîm pa-NEEM
the children בְּנֵ֥י bēn bane
of Israel. יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
