2 Kings 1:4
તમે આવું બધુ કર્યુ છે તેથી યહોવા એ કહ્યું છે, તું જે પથારીમાં પડયો છે એમાંથી ઊઠવાનો નથી. તું જરૂર મરી જશે.” ત્યાર પછી એલિયા ચાલ્યો ગયો.
0 A Song of degrees.
1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

| the Lord, | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| not shalt Thou | הַמִּטָּ֞ה | hammiṭṭâ | ha-mee-TA |
| come down | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| from | עָלִ֥יתָ | ʿālîtā | ah-LEE-ta |
| that bed | שָּׁ֛ם | šām | shahm |
| which on | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| תֵרֵ֥ד | tērēd | tay-RADE | |
| thou art gone up, | מִמֶּ֖נָּה | mimmennâ | mee-MEH-na |
| but | כִּ֣י | kî | kee |
| shalt surely | מ֣וֹת | môt | mote |
| die. | תָּמ֑וּת | tāmût | ta-MOOT |
| And Elijah | וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ | wayyēlek | va-YAY-lek |
