આમ, ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા યહોરામ યહૂદાના રાજા અને અદોમના રાજાને સાથે લઈ યુદ્ધે ચડયો. સાત દિવસ સુધી ચકરાવાવાળે રસ્તે કૂચ કર્યા પછી લશ્કર માંટે કે સરસામાંન ઉપાડતાં જાનવરો માંટે પાણી ખૂટી ગયું.

journey: דֶּ֖רֶךְ derek deh-REK
of seven שִׁבְעַ֣ת šebaʿ sheh-VA
days' יָמִ֑ים yôm yome
no וְלֹֽא lōʾ loh
and there was הָיָ֨ה hāyâ ha-YA
water מַ֧יִם mayim ma-YEEM
for the host, לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֛ה maḥăne ma-huh-NEH
and for the cattle וְלַבְּהֵמָ֖ה bĕhēmâ beh-hay-MA
that אֲשֶׁ֥ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
followed them. בְּרַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃ regel reh-ɡEL
