Amos 8:9
“તે દિવસે હું ખરે બપોરે સૂર્યાસ્ત કરીશ. અને ધોળે દિવસે પૃથ્વી પર હું અંધકાર પાથરી દઇશ.
| And it shall come to pass | וְהָיָ֣ה׀ | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| in that | בַּיּ֣וֹם | bayyôm | BA-yome |
| day, | הַה֗וּא | hahûʾ | ha-HOO |
| saith | נְאֻם֙ | nĕʾum | neh-OOM |
| the Lord | אֲדֹנָ֣י | ʾădōnāy | uh-doh-NAI |
| God, | יְהוִ֔ה | yĕhwi | yeh-VEE |
| sun the cause will I that | וְהֵבֵאתִ֥י | wĕhēbēʾtî | veh-hay-vay-TEE |
| down go to | הַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁ | haššemeš | ha-SHEH-mesh |
| at noon, | בַּֽצָּהֳרָ֑יִם | baṣṣāhŏrāyim | ba-tsa-hoh-RA-yeem |
| darken will I and | וְהַחֲשַׁכְתִּ֥י | wĕhaḥăšaktî | veh-ha-huh-shahk-TEE |
| the earth | לָאָ֖רֶץ | lāʾāreṣ | la-AH-rets |
| in the clear | בְּי֥וֹם | bĕyôm | beh-YOME |
| day: | אֽוֹר׃ | ʾôr | ore |
