Deuteronomy 14:23
અને દેવે જે જગ્યા પોતાના પવિત્રસ્થાન માંટે નણ્ી કરી હોય ત્યાં તેમની સમક્ષ આ દશાંશ ખાવા માંટે લાવવો. તમે અનાજનો, દ્રાક્ષારસનો, તથા તેલનો દશમો ભાગ તેમ જ તમાંરાં ઢોરો તથા ઘેટાં બકરાંના પ્રથમજનિતને પણ ખાઈ શકો, તેથી તમે તમાંરા દેવ યહોવૅંથી હંમેશા ડરીને જીવતાં શીખશો.

| his name | שְׁמ֣וֹ | šĕmô | sheh-MOH |
| there, | שָׁם֒ | šām | shahm |
| tithe the | מַעְשַׂ֤ר | maʿśar | ma-SAHR |
| of thy corn, | דְּגָֽנְךָ֙ | dĕgānĕkā | deh-ɡa-neh-HA |
| wine, thy of | תִּֽירֹשְׁךָ֣ | tîrōšĕkā | tee-roh-sheh-HA |
| and of thine oil, | וְיִצְהָרֶ֔ךָ | wĕyiṣhārekā | veh-yeets-ha-REH-ha |
| firstlings the and | וּבְכֹרֹ֥ת | ûbĕkōrōt | oo-veh-hoh-ROTE |
| of thy herds | בְּקָֽרְךָ֖ | bĕqārĕkā | beh-ka-reh-HA |
| flocks; thy of and | וְצֹאנֶ֑ךָ | wĕṣōʾnekā | veh-tsoh-NEH-ha |
