Deuteronomy 18:14
“જે પ્રજાઓનું સ્થાન તમે લઈ રહ્યા છો તે પ્રજાઓ જોષીઓ તથા શુકન અપશુકન જોનારાઓની વાત કાને ધરે છે, પણ તમને તો તમાંરા દેવ યહોવા એવી છૂટ આપતા નથી.

| observers of times, | וְאֶל | wĕʾel | veh-EL |
| and unto | קֹֽסְמִ֖ים | qōsĕmîm | koh-seh-MEEM |
| diviners: | יִשְׁמָ֑עוּ | yišmāʿû | yeesh-MA-oo |
| but as for thee, | וְאַתָּ֕ה | wĕʾattâ | veh-ah-TA |
| the Lord | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| God thy | כֵ֔ן | kēn | hane |
| hath not | נָ֥תַן | nātan | NA-tahn |
| suffered | לְךָ֖ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| thee so | יְהוָ֥ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| to do. | אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
