Deuteronomy 31:16
યહોવાએ મૂસાને કહ્યું, “તારા પિતૃઓની જેમ તું પણ હવે મરવાની અણી પર છે. આ લોકો જે દેશમાં જઈ રહ્યા છે તેમાં જઈ વિદેશીઓ ભેગા રહેશે એટલે માંરા પ્રત્યેની ભકિતથી ચલિત થઈને તેઓ તે લોકોના દેવોની પૂજા કરવા માંડશે, મને છોડી દેશે અને મેં તેમની સાથે કરેલા કરારનો તેઓ ભંગ કરશે.

| with | עִם | ʿim | eem |
| thy fathers; | אֲבֹתֶ֑יךָ | ʾăbōtêkā | uh-voh-TAY-ha |
| this and | וְקָם֩ | wĕqām | veh-KAHM |
| people | הָעָ֨ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| will rise up, | הַזֶּ֜ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| whoring a go and | וְזָנָ֣ה׀ | wĕzānâ | veh-za-NA |
| after | אַֽחֲרֵ֣י׀ | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY |
| the gods | אֱלֹהֵ֣י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| strangers the of | נֵֽכַר | nēkar | NAY-hahr |
| of the land, | הָאָ֗רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| whither | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| ה֤וּא | hûʾ | hoo | |
| they | בָא | bāʾ | va |
| go | שָׁ֙מָּה֙ | šāmmāh | SHA-MA |
| to be among | בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ | bĕqirbô | beh-keer-BOH |
| forsake will and them, | וַֽעֲזָבַ֕נִי | waʿăzābanî | va-uh-za-VA-nee |
| me, and break | וְהֵפֵר֙ | wĕhēpēr | veh-hay-FARE |
