Exodus 21:29
પણ જો તે બળદને પહેલાંથી શિંગડું માંરવાની ટેવ હોય, ને તેનો ધણી તે જાણતો હોય, તેમ છતાં તેણે તેને કાબૂમાં રાખ્યો ના હોય, અને તે બળદ કોઈ પુરુષ કે સ્ત્રીને માંરી નાખે, તો તે બળદને પથ્થરો માંરીને માંરી નાખવો અને તેના ધણીને પણ મોતની સજા કરવી.

| kept | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| him killed hath he that but in, | יִשְׁמְרֶ֔נּוּ | yišmĕrennû | yeesh-meh-REH-noo |
| a man | וְהֵמִ֥ית | wĕhēmît | veh-hay-MEET |
| or | אִ֖ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| a woman; | א֣וֹ | ʾô | oh |
| ox the | אִשָּׁ֑ה | ʾiššâ | ee-SHA |
| shall be stoned, | הַשּׁוֹר֙ | haššôr | ha-SHORE |
| owner his and | יִסָּקֵ֔ל | yissāqēl | yee-sa-KALE |
| also | וְגַם | wĕgam | veh-ɡAHM |
| shall be put to death. | בְּעָלָ֖יו | bĕʿālāyw | beh-ah-LAV |
| יוּמָֽת׃ | yûmāt | yoo-MAHT |
