Genesis 44:31
તેનો જીવ એટલો બધો એ છોકરામાં છે કે, અમાંરી સાથે એ છોકરો નથી એ જોતાંની સાથે જ એનું મોત થશે; અને આપના આ સેવકોએ આપના સેવક અમાંરા પિતાને ઘરડેઘડપણ શોક કરતા દફનાવવા પડશે.

| die: will he that us, with | וָמֵ֑ת | wāmēt | va-MATE |
| servants thy and | וְהוֹרִ֨ידוּ | wĕhôrîdû | veh-hoh-REE-doo |
| shall bring down | עֲבָדֶ֜יךָ | ʿăbādêkā | uh-va-DAY-ha |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the gray hairs | שֵׂיבַ֨ת | śêbat | say-VAHT |
| servant thy of | עַבְדְּךָ֥ | ʿabdĕkā | av-deh-HA |
| our father | אָבִ֛ינוּ | ʾābînû | ah-VEE-noo |
| with sorrow | בְּיָג֖וֹן | bĕyāgôn | beh-ya-ɡONE |
