જ્યારે વૃદ્ધ પ્રબોધકે આ વિષે સાંભળ્યું ત્યારે તેણે કહ્યું, “એ તો એ જ દેવનો માંણસ છે, કે જેણે યહોવાની આજ્ઞાનો અનાદર કર્યો છે! સિંહ દ્વારા તેને માંરી નંખાવીને યહોવાએ તેને આપેલી ચેતવણી પૂર્ણ કરી છે.”

| was disobedient | מָרָ֖ה | mārâ | ma-RA |
| unto | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| the word | פִּ֣י | pî | pee |
