પરંતુ યોનાદાબ જે દાઉદના ભાઈ શિમઆહનો પુત્ર હતો, તે તેનો મિત્ર હતો, તે ઘણો પાક્કો હતો.

પણ દાઉદના ભાઈ શિમઆહના પુત્ર યોનાદાબે કહ્યું, “હે માંરા ધણી, માંરા રાજા, એમ ન માંનશો કે આપના બધા જ પુત્રો મરી ગયા છે. ફકત આમ્નોનને માંરી નાખ્યો છે. આમ્નોને આબ્શાલોમની બહેન તામાંરનું અપમાંન કર્યુ ત્યારથી આબ્શાલોમે તેનો બદલો લેવાનો નિશ્ચય કર્યો છે.

2 શમએલ 21:21
આ માંણસે ઇસ્રાએલને પડકાર કર્યો અને તેઓની ઠેકડી ઊડાડી પણ દાઉદના ભાઈ શિમાંયના પુત્ર યોનાથાને તેને માંરી નાખ્યો.
