દાઉદે ફરીથી યહોવાને પૂછયું એટલે તેમણે જવાબ આપ્યો, “તેમના ઉપર સામેથી હુમલો કરીશ નહિ, તું ચકરાવો માંર્યા પછી તેમના ઉપર પાછળથી શેતુરની ઝાડી નજીક હુમલો કરજે.

| behind | אַ֣חֲרֵיהֶ֔ם | ʾaḥărêhem | AH-huh-ray-HEM |
| them, and come | וּבָ֥אתָ | ûbāʾtā | oo-VA-ta |
| against over them upon | לָהֶ֖ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
