ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 20:7
કોઇ રાષ્ટો પોતાના સૈન્યો અને શસ્રો વિષે અભિમાન કરે છે, બીજા કોઇ તેમના રથો અને ઘોડાઓ પર અભિમાન કરે છે. પણ અમે અમારા દેવમાં વિશ્વાસ રાખીએ છીએ. અમે અમારા યહોવાના નામના પોકાર કરીશું.
ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 33:16
રાજા ફકત તેના સુસજ્જ સૈન્યના બળથી જીતી ન શકે. બળવાન યોદ્ધો ફકત પોતાની બહાદુરીથી બચી જતો નથી.
