ઊત્પત્તિ 4:11
તેં તારા પોતાના ભાઈની હત્યા કરી છે. અને હવે તારા ભાઈનું રકત તારા હાથથી લેવાને જે ધરતીએ પોતાનું મોં ખોલ્યું છે, તેથી હવે હું આ ભૂમિને ખરાબ કરવાવાળી વસ્તુઓ હું ઉત્પન્ન કરીશ.

And now	וְעַתָּ֖ה	wĕʿattâ	veh-ah-TA
art thou	אָר֣וּר	ʾārûr	ah-ROOR
cursed	אָ֑תָּה	ʾāttâ	AH-ta
from	מִן	min	meen
the earth,	הָֽאֲדָמָה֙	hāʾădāmāh	ha-uh-da-MA
which	אֲשֶׁ֣ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
hath opened	פָּצְתָ֣ה	poṣtâ	pohts-TA
	אֶת	ʾet	et
her mouth	פִּ֔יהָ	pîhā	PEE-ha
to receive	לָקַ֛חַת	lāqaḥat	la-KA-haht
brother's thy	אֶת	ʾet	et
	דְּמֵ֥י	dĕmê	deh-MAY
blood	אָחִ֖יךָ	ʾāḥîkā	ah-HEE-ha
from thy hand;	מִיָּדֶֽךָ׃	miyyādekā	mee-ya-DEH-ha
