અયૂબ 1:7
યહોવાએ શેતાનને પૂછયું, “તું ક્યાં ગયો હતો?”શેતાને યહોવાને જવાબ આપ્યો. “હું પૃથ્વી પર આમતેમ ભટકતો હતો.”

| Satan Then thou? | וַיַּ֨עַן | wayyaʿan | va-YA-an |
| answered | הַשָּׂטָ֤ן | haśśāṭān | ha-sa-TAHN |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the Lord, | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |

| From going to and fro | מִשּׁ֣וּט | miššûṭ | MEE-shoot |
| earth, the in | בָּאָ֔רֶץ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-rets |
| and from walking up and down | וּמֵֽהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ | ûmēhithallēk | oo-may-heet-ha-LAKE |
