આમ્મોનીના સૈન્યને સાથે બોલાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું અને તેઓએ ગિલયાદમાં છાવણી નાખી હતી. ઈસ્રાએલનું સૈન્ય પણ સાથે થવા એકઠું થયું અને મિસ્પાહમાં છાવણી નાખી.
