Judges 20:18
યુદ્ધ શરૂ કરતાં પહેલાં ઈસ્રાએલી સૈન્ય દેવની સલાહ લેવાને બથેલમાં ગયું. તેમણે પૂછયું, “બિન્યામીન કુળસમૂહ ઉપર અમાંરામાંથી કોણ પહેલો હુમલો કરે?”યહોવાએ કહ્યું, “યહૂદા કુળસમૂહે પ્રથમ હુમલો કરવો.”

તેણે માંરી ઈચ્છા જાણવા માંટે યાજક એલઆજાર પાસે જવું પડશે. પછી એલઆઝાર યહોવા સમક્ષ ઉરીમ પાસો નાખીને યહોવાને જવાબ મેળવશે. આ રીતે એલઆઝાર યહોશુઆને અને સમગ્ર ઇસ્રાએલી સમાંજને તેમની બધી બાબતમાં માંર્ગદર્શન આપશે.”
