તેમની ચીસો સાંભળીને ત્યાં આસપાસ ઊભેલા બધાં ઇસ્રાએલીઓ ભયભીત થઈને ભાગવા માંડયા. રખેને તેઓને પણ “ધરતી હડપ કરી જાય.”

And all	וְכָל	wĕkāl	veh-HAHL
Israel	יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
that	אֲשֶׁ֛ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
about round were	סְבִיבֹֽתֵיהֶ֖ם	sĕbîbōtêhem	seh-vee-voh-tay-HEM
them fled	נָ֣סוּ	nāsû	NA-soo
at the cry	לְקֹלָ֑ם	lĕqōlām	leh-koh-LAHM
for them: of	כִּ֣י	kî	kee
they said,	אָֽמְר֔וּ	ʾāmĕrû	ah-meh-ROO
Lest	פֶּן	pen	pen
earth the	תִּבְלָעֵ֖נוּ	tiblāʿēnû	teev-la-A-noo
swallow us up	הָאָֽרֶץ׃	hāʾāreṣ	ha-AH-rets
