ગણના 36:2
“યહોવાએ તમને ચિઠ્ઠી ઉપાડીને ઇસ્રાએલી પ્રજા વચ્ચે જમીન વહેંચી આપવા આદેશ કર્યો છે, અને તેમણે અમાંરા ભાઈ સલોફદાહની જમીન તેની પુત્રીઓને આપવાનું પણ આદેશ કર્યો છે.

| for an inheritance | בְּנַֽחֲלָ֛ה | bĕnaḥălâ | beh-na-huh-LA |
| lot by | בְּגוֹרָ֖ל | bĕgôrāl | beh-ɡoh-RAHL |
| to the children | לִבְנֵ֣י | libnê | leev-NAY |
| Israel: of | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| and my lord | וַֽאדֹנִי֙ | waʾdōniy | va-doh-NEE |
| commanded was | צֻוָּ֣ה | ṣuwwâ | tsoo-WA |
| by the Lord | בַֽיהוָ֔ה | bayhwâ | vai-VA |
| give to | לָתֵ֗ת | lātēt | la-TATE |
