મિસર ઉપર? મિસર તો ભાંગેલું બરું છે; જે કોઇ એનો આધાર લે છે તેના હાથ ચિરાઇ જાય છે મિસરનો રાજા તો એવો છે જે કોઇ તેના પર વિશ્વાસ રાખે છે તેના એવા હાલ થાય છે.
Isaiah 30:7
પણ તે પ્રજાથી એમને કશો લાભ થાય એમ નથી. કારણ, મિસરની સહાય મિથ્યા છે, તેની કશી વિસાત નથી; અને માટે જ મેં મિસરનું નામ “દૈવત વગરનો દૈત્ય” પાડ્યું છે.
Isaiah 2:22
હવે માણસને ભરોસે રહેશો નહિ, કારણ એની શી વિસાત છે? જેનો શ્વાસ તેના નસકોરાંમાં જ છે.
