Isaiah 33:1
અફસોસ છે તને! તું અલબત્ત, બીજાને લૂંટે છે, પણ તું લૂંટાયો નથી! તું દગાબાજી કરે છે ખરો, પણ તારી સાથે કોઇએ દગાબાજી કરી નથી! પણ જ્યારે તારી ખરાબીઓ પૂરી થશે, ત્યારે તું ખરેખર લૂંટાશે; જ્યારે તું તારી દગાબાજીનો અંત લાવીશ ત્યારે ખરેખર તારી સાથે દગાબાજી થશે.

પૃથ્વીના બધા છેડેથી આપણે “ન્યાયીનો મહિમા થાઓ” તેમ સાંભળીશું પણ અફસોસ! “હું તો ક્ષીણ થતો જઉં છું, મારા માટે કોઇ આશા નથી. દગાબાજી કરનારા દગાબાજી કરે જાય છે અને દિવસે દિવસે તેઓની દગાબાજીમાં વધારો થતો જાય છે.

જુઓ, સવાર થતા પહેલાં તેઓ નષ્ટ થશે; જોકે સંધ્યાકાળે તો તેઓ કેર વર્તાવતા હતા! આ છે આપણને લૂંટનારાઓનું ભાગ્ય. અને અમારી ધનસંપત્તિનું હરણ કરનારની દશા.
