Isaiah 40:22
તે તો સૃષ્ટિના નભોમંડળ પર બિરાજમાન એવા દેવ છે. એની નજરમાં તો પૃથ્વી પરના લોકો ક્ષુદ્ર કીડી જેવા છે! તેમણે આકાશને ચંદરવાની જેમ ફેલાવ્યું છે, અને પોતાનું નિવાસસ્થાન બનાવ્યું છે.

| thereof are as grasshoppers; | כַּחֲגָבִ֑ים | kaḥăgābîm | ka-huh-ɡa-VEEM |
| out stretcheth that | הַנּוֹטֶ֤ה | hannôṭe | ha-noh-TEH |
| the heavens | כַדֹּק֙ | kaddōq | ha-DOKE |
| as a curtain, | שָׁמַ֔יִם | šāmayim | sha-MA-yeem |
| out them spreadeth and | וַיִּמְתָּחֵ֥ם | wayyimtāḥēm | va-yeem-ta-HAME |
| as a tent | כָּאֹ֖הֶל | kāʾōhel | ka-OH-hel |
| to dwell in: | לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ | lāšābet | la-SHA-vet |
