Isaiah 46:1
યહોવા કહે છે, “બેલને નમાવી દીધું છે,નબો વિરોધ કરે છે, તેમની મૂર્તિઓ ઢોરો પર લાદવામાં આવી છે, જે મૂર્તિઓને તમે માથે લઇને ફરતા હતા તે અત્યારે થાકેલાં જનાવરો પર ભારરૂપે લદાઇ છે.

Jeremiah 10:5
ખેતરોમાં ઊભા કરેલા અસહાય ચાડિયાની જેમ તેઓના દેવ ત્યાં ઊભા રહે છે! તે બોલી શકતા નથી, તે ચાલી શકતા નથી તેથી ઊંચકીને લઇ જવા પડે છે. આવા દેવોથી ડરશો નહિ, તે કશી ઇજા કરી શકે તેમ નથી, તેમ જ કશું ભલું કરવાની પણ એમની શકિત નથી.”

દરેક જણે પોતાના પડોશીને મદદ કરી અને પોતાના ભાઇઓને ઉત્તેજન આપ્યું.

તે દિવસે માણસ પોતે બનાવેલી સોનાચાંદીની મૂર્તિઓને ફેંકી દેશે. તેઓ એ બધી મૂર્તિઓને છછૂંદર અને ચામાચિડિયા માટે ફગાવી દેશે.
