“છેલ્લા ત્રેવીસ વર્ષથી, યહૂદિયાના રાજા આમ્મોનના પુત્ર યોશિયાના શાસનનાં 13 માં વર્ષથી તે આજ પર્યંત યહોવા પોતાના સંદેશાઓ મને મોકલતો રહ્યો છે. મેં વિશ્વાસુપણે તે તમારી આગળ પ્રગટ કર્યા છે, છતાં તમે તે પર ધ્યાન આપ્યું નથી.

unto אֵלָ֑י ʾēl ale
me, and I have spoken וָאֲדַבֵּ֧ר dābar da-VAHR
unto אֲלֵיכֶ֛ם ʾēl ale
you, rising early אַשְׁכֵּ֥ים šākam sha-HAHM
and speaking; וְדַבֵּ֖ר dābar da-VAHR
but ye have not וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
hearkened. שְׁמַעְתֶּֽם׃ šāmaʿ sha-MA
