Jeremiah 37:14
યમિર્યાએ કહ્યું, “ખોટી વાત છે, બાબિલવાસીઓ સાથે ભળી જવા માટે હું નથી જતો. આમ કરવાનો મારો કોઇ ઇરાદો નથી.” પરંતુ ઇરિયાએ તેનું કહ્યું માન્યું નહિ અને તેને પકડીને અમલદાર આગળ રજૂ કર્યો, અમલદારો યમિર્યા પર ક્રોધે ભરાયા.

| to | עַל | ʿal | al |
| the Chaldeans. | הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים | hakkaśdîm | ha-kahs-DEEM |
| hearkened he But | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| not | שָׁמַ֖ע | šāmaʿ | sha-MA |
| to | אֵלָ֑יו | ʾēlāyw | ay-LAV |
| him: so Irijah | וַיִּתְפֹּ֤שׂ | wayyitpōś | va-yeet-POSE |
| took | יִרְאִיָּיה֙ | yirʾiyyāyh | yeer-ee-YAI |
| Jeremiah, | בְּיִרְמְיָ֔הוּ | bĕyirmĕyāhû | beh-yeer-meh-YA-hoo |
| and brought | וַיְבִאֵ֖הוּ | waybiʾēhû | vai-vee-A-hoo |
| him to | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the princes. | הַשָּׂרִֽים׃ | haśśārîm | ha-sa-REEM |
