Jeremiah 5:1
યહોવા કહે છે, “યરૂશાલેમની ગલીએ ગલી શોધી કાઢો, તમારી ચારેબાજુ જાતે જોઇ વળો, તેના ચોરા ચૌટા જોઇ વળો. ને જુઓ કે ન્યાયી તથા પ્રામાણિક એવો એક માણસ પણ તમને મળે છે! અને જો તમને એવો એક પણ માણસ મળે, તો હું યરૂશાલેમને માફ કરું.

| in the broad places | בִרְחוֹבוֹתֶ֔יהָ | birḥôbôtêhā | veer-hoh-voh-TAY-ha |
| if thereof, | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| ye can find | תִּמְצְא֣וּ | timṣĕʾû | teem-tseh-OO |
| man, a | אִ֔ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |

| there be | יֵ֛שׁ | yēš | yaysh |
| executeth that any | עֹשֶׂ֥ה | ʿōśe | oh-SEH |
| judgment, | מִשְׁפָּ֖ט | mišpāṭ | meesh-PAHT |
| that seeketh | מְבַקֵּ֣שׁ | mĕbaqqēš | meh-va-KAYSH |
| truth; the | אֱמוּנָ֑ה | ʾĕmûnâ | ay-moo-NA |
