આ વિસ્તારમાં યર્દનની ખીણમાં, પૂર્વીય ઢોળાવોમાં, પર્વતીય પ્રદેશોમાં, પશ્ચિમી ટેકરીઓમાં, અરણ્ય પ્રદેશમાં, નેગેબમાં. આ ભૂમિમાં હિત્તીઓ, અમોરીઓ, કનાનીઓ, પરિઝઝીઓ, હિવ્વીઓ તથાયબૂસીઓ રહેતા હતા.
