Joshua 14:4
યૂસફના વંશજો બે કુળસમૂહોમાં વહેંચાયેલા હતા: મનાશ્શા અને એફ્રાઈમ. તેઓમાંના દરેકે થોડી જમીન મેળવી. પણ લેવીઓને જમીનનો કોઈ ભાગ ન મળ્યો. રહેવા અને તેમનાં ઢોરઢાંખર માંટે, તેઓએ અમુક શહેરો અને તેમના ખેતરો મેળવ્યાં.
