યૂસફના લોકોએ કહ્યું, “ડુંગરાળ દેશ અમાંરા માંટે પૂરતો નથી, પણ કનાનીઓ જે સપાટ પ્રદેશમાં રહે છે, તેમની પાસે લોખંડના રથો છે. કનાનીઓ બેથશેઆન અને તેના નજીકના શહેરો અને યિઝ્એલ ખીણના ક્ષેત્રમાં રહેતાં.”

મનાશ્શાના લોકોને ઈસ્સાખાર અને આશેરનાં ક્ષેત્રોમાં પણ શહેરો હતાં. આ શહેરોનો પણ તેમાં સમાંવેશ થતો હતો: બેથ-શેઆન અને તેના નજીકના શહેરો, યિબ્લઆમ અને તની નજીકના શહેરો, દોર અને તેનાં નજીકના શહેરો, એનદોર અને તાઅનાખ, મગિદોના નગરો અને તેમના નજીકના શહેરો. તેઓ મનાશ્શાના કુળ દ્વારા શાષિત હતાં. તેઓ નફોટાના ત્રણ શહેરોમાં પણ રહ્યાં.
