Joshua 5:6
રણમાં રહેતા ત્યારે ઘણા લડાકુ લોકોએ યહોવાનું માંન્યું નહિ તેથી યહોવાએ વચન આપ્યું તે લોકો “વધારે અનાજ ઉગે છે” તે જમીન નહિ જોવે. યહોવાએ આપણા પૂર્વજોને તે ભૂમિ આપવાનું વચન આપ્યું હતું. પણ તે માંણસોને કારણે દેવે લોકોને 40 વર્ષ રણમાં ભટકવાની ફરજ પાડી તે રીતે તે લડતા લોકો મરી જશે. તે બધાં લડતા લોકો મરી ગયા અને તેમના પુત્રોએ તેઓની જગ્યાં લીધી.
