મૂસા દ્વારા આપવામાં આવેલી દરેક આજ્ઞાઓ યહોશુઆએ ઇસ્રાએલના લોકો સમક્ષ વાંચી. તે વખતે તમાંમ ઇસ્રાએલીઓ સ્ત્રીઓ બાળક તેમજ તેમની સાથે વસતા વિદેશીઓ પણ ઉપસ્થિત હતા.
