Leviticus 26:31
હું તમાંરા નગરોને વેરાન ખંડેર બનાવી દઈશ. તમાંરાં પવિત્ર સ્થાનોનો વિનાશ કરીશ, અને તમાંરાં સુવાસિત અર્પણોનો અસ્વીકાર કરીશ.

| cities your | עָֽרֵיכֶם֙ | ʿārêkem | ah-ray-HEM |
| waste, | חָרְבָּ֔ה | ḥorbâ | hore-BA |
| and bring your sanctuaries | וַֽהֲשִׁמּוֹתִ֖י | wahăšimmôtî | va-huh-shee-moh-TEE |
| desolation, unto | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| מִקְדְּשֵׁיכֶ֑ם | miqdĕšêkem | meek-deh-shay-HEM | |
| and I will not | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| smell | אָרִ֔יחַ | ʾārîaḥ | ah-REE-ak |
| the savour | בְּרֵ֖יחַ | bĕrêaḥ | beh-RAY-ak |
| of your sweet odours. | נִיחֹֽחֲכֶֽם׃ | nîḥōḥăkem | nee-HOH-huh-HEM |
