જ્યારે ઈસુ મરણ પામ્યો, તે જ વખતે મંદિરનો પડદો બે ભાગમાં ફાટી ગયો હતો. તે ઉપરથી શરું થયો અને છેક નીચે સુધી ફાટી ગયો.
