Numbers 29:11
વળી પાપાર્થાર્પણ માંટે તમાંરે એક બકરાનું બલિદાન આપવું. પ્રાયશ્ચિતના દિવસનું પાપાર્થાર્પણ વર્ષમાં એક વખત તે પ્રાયશ્ચિતના દિવસે અર્પણ કરવામાં આવતું અને પ્રતિદિન થતાં દહનાર્પણો, ખાદ્યાર્પણો અને પેયાર્પણો ઉપરાંતનું આ અર્પણ છે.

Numbers 29:6
અમાંવાસ્યાના દહનાર્પણ તથા દૈનિક યજ્ઞો અને તે સાથેના ખાદ્યાર્પણ અને પેયાર્પણ ઉપરાંત આ વિશિષ્ટ અર્પણો છે. એ યહોવાની સુવાસિત આહુતિ છે.
Isaiah 53:10
તેમ છતાં તેને કચરવાની અને વિપત્તિઓમાંથી પસાર કરવાની યહોવાની યોજના હતી. પણ જ્યારે તેના આત્માનું દોષાર્થાર્પણ થશે ત્યારે તે પોતાનાં વંશજોને જોવા પામશે, તે લાંબુ જીવન જીવશે અને યહોવાની યોજના તેના દ્વારા સફળ થશે.

તે બીજા પ્રમુખયાજકો જેવો ન હતો. તેને પોતાનાં અને લોકોનાં પાપો માટે દરરોજ બલિદાન અર્પણ કરવાની અગત્ય રહેતી નથી. કારણ કે તેણે આ બધા માટે આ કામ એક જ વખત કર્યુ. જ્યારે તેણે પોતાની જાતનું સ્વાર્પણ કર્યું.
Hebrews 9:25
આ સૌથી વધુ પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં પ્રમુખયાજક વર્ષમાં એક જ વાર પ્રવેશે છે. તે પોતાની સાથે દેવને અર્પણ કરવા રક્ત લાવે છે. પરંતુ ખ્રિસ્તની માફક તે પોતાનું રક્ત અર્પણ કરતો નથી. ખ્રિસ્ત તો આકાશમાં સીધાવ્યો પણ તેને બીજા પ્રમુખ યાજકની માફક વારંવાર રક્ત અર્પણ કરવાની જરૂર રહી નહી.
