Psalm 149 in Gujarati

1 યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરો; તેમની સમક્ષ નવું ગીત ગાઓ; સંતોની સભામાં તેની સ્તુતિ કરો.

2 ઇસ્રાએલ, તમારા સર્જનહારનાં અસ્તિત્વનો તમે આનંદ કરો; સિયોનના લોકો, તમારા રાજાની નિકટતાનો આનંદ મનાવો.

3 તેઓ તેના નામની સ્તુતિ નૃત્યસહિત કરો; ડફ તથા વીણાથી તેનાં સ્તોત્ર ગીત ગાઓ.

4 કારણકે યહોવા પોતાના લોકોમાં આનંદ માને છે; અને નમ્રજનોનો ઉદ્ધાર કરે છે.

5 તેમનાં સંતો તેમના ગૌરવથી હરખાય છે; પથારીમાં સૂતા હોય ત્યારે પણ તમે આનંદના ગીતો ગાઓ.

6 તેઓના કંઠમાંથી યહોવાની ઉત્તમ સ્તુતિ ગવાઓ; અને તેઓના હાથમાં બેધારી તરવાર રહો.

7 તેઓ બીજા રાષ્ટોને સજા કરે અને તેમને પાઠ ભણાવે.

8 તેઓના રાજાઓને અને આગેવાનોને; લોખંડની સાંકળોથી બાંધે.

9 અને તેઓને દેવના ચુકાદો મુજબ તેઓ સજા કરે! યહોવા તેમના બધાં સંતોનો આદર છે. યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરો.

1 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
