Psalm 53 - ASV (Gujarati)

1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that doeth good.માત્ર મૂર્ખ પોતાના મનમાં કહે છે કે, “દેવ છે જ નહિ” તેનું હૃદય દુષ્ટતાથી ભરેલું છે. તેવા માણસો ઘૃણાને પાત્ર અને દુષ્ટ કૃત્યો કરે છે. તેઓમાં કોઇ સારા કૃત્યો કરનાર નથી.

2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.દેવ આકાશમાંથી નીચે મનુષ્યો ઉપર દૃષ્ટિ કરીને તપાસ કરે છે કે એવી કોઇ વ્યકિત છે જેને સાચી સમજ હોય; ને મનથી દેવની શોધ કરતી હોય.

3 Every one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.તેઓમાંનાં દરેક માર્ગષ્ટ થયા છે, અને તેઓ સઘળા અશુદ્ધ થયા છે; કોઇ વ્યકિત ન્યાયી જીવન જીવતી નથી. ભલું કરનાર હવે કોઇ રહ્યુ નથી.

4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people `as' they eat bread, And call not upon God?દેવ કહે છે કે, “દુષ્ટ કરનારાઓ શું આ નથી સમજતા? મારા લોકોને તે જાણે રોટલી ખાતાં હોય તેમ ખાઇ જાય છે. તેઓ દેવ પાસે જતા નથી, અને કદી પ્રાર્થના કરતાં નથી.”

5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was; For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: Thou hast put them to shame, because of God hath rejected them.જોકે કશું ડરવા જેવું નહિ હોય ત્યાં તેઓ અચાનક ભયભીત થઇ જશે. દેવે તે બધા દુષ્ટ લોકોને નકાર્યા છે. તેથી દેવના લોકો તેમને હરાવશે, અને દેવ તે દુષ્ટ લોકોના હાડકાઁને વિખેરી નાખશે.

6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, `and' Israel shall be glad. Maschil of David; when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us?સિયોનમાંથી ઇસ્રાએલનું તારણ વહેલું આવે! યહોવા પોતે પોતાના લોકોને બંધનમાંથી છોડાવશે અને તેમને પાછા તેમના વતનમાં લાવશે, અને પછી યાકૂબ ખુશ થશે, તથા ઇસ્રાએેલ આનંદિત થશે.
