Psalm 58
1 ઓ ન્યાયાધીશો, શું ખરેખર જે ન્યાય છે તે તમે બોલો છો? શું ખરેખર તમે લોકોનો નિષ્પક્ષપણે ન્યાય કરો છો?
2 ના, તમે કેવળ દુષ્ટતા કરવાના વિચાર કરો છે; તમારા હાથે જ તમે પૃથ્વી પર હિંસા થાય તેવું કરો છો.
3 દુષ્ટ માણસો જન્મથી જ ખોટા માગેર્ વળે છે; ત્યારથી જ દેવથી દૂર થાય છે, ને અસત્ય બોલે છે.
4 તેઓનું વિષ સાપના વિષ જેવું છે, તેઓ તેમનાં કાન બંધ રાખે છે, તેઓ બહેરા સાપ જેવા છે.
5 ગારુડી અતિ કુશળતાથી મહવર વગાડે છે, છતાંય તેનો સાદ સંભળાતો નથી.
6 હે દેવ, તમે તેઓના દાંત તોડી નાંખો; હે યહોવા, તમે યુવાન સિંહોની દાઢો તોડી પાડો.
7 સૂકી ધરતી પર જેમ પાણી ચૂસાઇ જાય તેમ તેમને અદ્રશ્ય થવા દો; સુકાયેલા ઘાસની જેમ તેઓને કચડાઇ અને ચગદાઇ જવા દો.
8 તમે તેઓને કાદવમાં ઓગળતી જતી ગોકળગાય જેવા, અને જેણે સૂર્ય કદી જોયો નથી તેવા સમય પહેલા જન્મેલા મૃતબાળકના જેવા કરો.
9 તમારા હાંલ્લાંને કાંટાનો તાપ લાગે તે પહેલાં, પછી તે લીલા હોય કે સૂકા, તો પણ, વંટોળિયો પળવારમાં ઘસડીને લઇ જશે તેમ તેનાથી પણ વધુ ઝડપે યુવાન અને વૃદ્ધનો નાશ થાઓ.
10 દુષ્ટ લોકોએ તેના તરફ કરેલાં દુષ્ટ કાર્યો માટે તેને શિક્ષા થતી જોઇને સજ્જન વ્યકિતને આનંદ થશે, તે એક સૈનિક જેવો થશે, જેણે તેનાં શત્રુઓને હરાવ્યાં છે.
11 માટે લોકો કહેશે કે, ન્યાયીજનને અવશ્ય બદલો મળે છે, સંસારમાં ખરેખર ન્યાય કરનાર દેવ છે.

2 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
3 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
4 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
5 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
6 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
7 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
8 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
9 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
10 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
11 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
12 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
Psalm 96 in Tamil and English
1 યહોવા સમક્ષ નવું ગીત ગાઓ! સમગ્ર પૃથ્વી પર સર્વત્ર એ ગીત ગાઓ, યહોવા સમક્ષ ગાઓ.
O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
2 તેમના નામને ધન્યવાદ આપો; દિનપ્રતિદિન તેનું તારણ પ્રગટ કરો.
Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3 પ્રજાઓને તેના મહિમા વિષે જણાવો અને બધા લોકોને તેમના ચમત્કારો વિષે કહો.
Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4 કારણ, યહોવાની મહાનતા અવર્ણનીય છે; અને તે બહુ સ્તુત્ય છે; તેજ માત્ર ભયાવહ દેવ; સર્વ “દેવોની” ઉપર છે.
For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
5 લોકોના સર્વ “દેવો,” મૂર્તિઓ માત્ર છે; પણ યહોવાએ આકાશોને ઉત્પન્ન કર્યા છે.
For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
6 ભવ્યતા અને મહિમા તેમની સામે ચમકે છે. સાર્મથ્ય અને સૌન્દર્ય તેમના પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં છે.
Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 હે વિશ્વની સર્વ પ્રજાઓ, યહોવા એકલા જ છે મહિમાવાન અને પરાક્રમી; તે તમે કબૂલ કરો ને તેમને માન આપો .
Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
8 યહોવાને ઘટે છે ગૌરવ જે તે તેમને આપો, તેમની આરાધના કરવાને તમારા અર્પણો લઇને તેનાં આંગણામાં જાઓ.
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 પવિત્રતાની સુંદરતા ધારણ કરી, યહોવાની ઉપાસના કરો; અને ધ્રૂજો સમગ્ર પૃથ્વી તેમની સમક્ષ.
O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
10 પ્રજાઓની વચ્ચે જાહેર કરો, યહોવા એ છે જે જગત પર શાસન કરે છે અને ટકાવી રાખે છે, તેથી તેનો વિનાશ થશે નહિ. બધાં લોકોનો નિષ્પક્ષતાથી ન્યાય કરશે.
Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
11 આકાશો આનંદ પામો! હે પૃથ્વી, સુખી થાવ! હે ગર્જના કરતા સમુદ્રની વિશાળતા હર્ષથી પોકારો.
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
12 ખેતરો અને તેમાં જે કઇં ઊગે છે તે સર્વ સુખી થાઓ. હે વનનાં સર્વ વૃક્ષો યહોવાની આગળ હર્ષ સાથે ગાઓ.
Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
13 પૃથ્વીનો ન્યાય કરવાને, યહોવા આવે છે; તે સર્વ પ્રજાઓનો ન્યાય સત્યતાએ કરશે; અને જગતનો યથાર્થપણે.
Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
