Ruth 2:11
બોઆઝે જવાબ આપ્યો, મે સાંભળ્યું છે કે, “તારા પતિના ગુજરી ગયા પછી તે તારા વતન મોઆબને અને માંબાપને છોડ્યા,અને તારી સાસુ સાથે આ દેશમાં આવી છે અને જે લોકોને તું આજ સુધી જાણતી નહોતી, તેઓમાં તું રહેવા આવી છે.

| law in mother thy unto | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| since | עָשִׂית֙ | ʿāśît | ah-SEET |
| the death | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| husband: thine of | חֲמוֹתֵ֔ךְ | ḥămôtēk | huh-moh-TAKE |
| and how thou hast left | אַֽחֲרֵ֖י | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY |
| father thy | מ֣וֹת | môt | mote |
| and thy mother, | אִישֵׁ֑ךְ | ʾîšēk | ee-SHAKE |
| and the land | וַתַּֽעַזְבִ֞י | wattaʿazbî | va-ta-az-VEE |
| nativity, thy of | אָבִ֣יךְ | ʾābîk | ah-VEEK |
| and art come | וְאִמֵּ֗ךְ | wĕʾimmēk | veh-ee-MAKE |
| unto | וְאֶ֙רֶץ֙ | wĕʾereṣ | veh-EH-RETS |
| people a | מֽוֹלַדְתֵּ֔ךְ | môladtēk | moh-lahd-TAKE |
| which | וַתֵּ֣לְכִ֔י | wattēlĕkî | va-TAY-leh-HEE |
| thou knewest | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| not | עַ֕ם | ʿam | am |
| heretofore. | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
