“ஒருவேளை ஒருவன் தன் ஆடை மடிப்புக்குள் கொஞ்சம் இறைச்சியைக் கொண்டுபோகிறான். அந்த இறைச்சி பலிக்குரிய பகுதியாகும். எனவே அது பரிசுத்தமாகிறது. அந்த ஆடைகள் கொஞ்சம் அப்பத்தையோ, சமைத்த உணவையோ, திராட்சை ரசம், எண்ணெய் அல்லது மற்ற உணவையோ தொட்டால் பரிசுத்தமாகுமா? ஆடைப்பட்ட அந்தப் பொருட்களும் பரிசுத்தமாகுமா?” ஆசாரியர்கள், “இல்லை” என்றனர்.

in the skirt בִּכְנַ֣ף kānāp ka-NAHF
of his garment, בִּגְד֗וֹ beged beh-ɡED
do touch וְנָגַ֣ע nāgaʿ na-ɡA
and with his skirt בִּ֠כְנָפוֹ kānāp ka-NAHF
אֶל ʾēl ale
bread, הַלֶּ֨חֶם leḥem leh-HEM
וְאֶל ʾēl ale
or pottage, הַנָּזִ֜יד nāzîd na-ZEED
וְאֶל ʾēl ale
or wine, הַיַּ֧יִן yayin ya-YEEN
וְאֶל ʾēl ale
