सो उन्होंने बत्तीस हजार रथ, और माका के राजा और उसकी सेना को किराये पर बुलाया, और इन्होंने आकर मेदबा के साम्हने, अपने डेरे खड़े किए। और अम्मोनी अपने अपने नगर में से इकट्ठे हो कर लड़ने को आए।

thousand	אֶ֜לֶף	ʾelep	eh-LEF
chariots,	רֶ֗כֶב	rekeb	reh-HEV
	וְאֶת	ʾēt	ate
and the king	מֶ֤לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
of Maachah	מַֽעֲכָה֙	maʿăkâ	ma-uh-HA
	וְאֶת	ʾēt	ate
and his people;	עַמּ֔וֹ	ʿam	am
who came	וַיָּבֹ֕אוּ	bôʾ	boh
and pitched	וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ	ḥānâ	ha-NA
before	לִפְנֵ֣י	pānîm	pa-NEEM
Medeba.	מֵידְבָ֑א	mêdĕbāʾ	may-deh-VA
And the children	וּבְנֵ֣י	bēn	bane
of Ammon	עַמּ֗וֹן	ʿammôn	ah-MONE
gathered themselves together	נֶֽאֶסְפוּ֙	ʾāsap	ah-SAHF
from their cities,	מֵעָ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם	ʿîr	eer
and came	וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ	bôʾ	boh
to battle.	לַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃	milḥāmâ	meel-ha-MA
