रूबेनियों, गादियों और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के योद्धा जो ढाल बान्धने, तलवार चलाने, और धनुष के तीर छोड़ने के योग्य और युद्ध करना सीखे हुए थे, वे चौवालीस हजार सात सौ साठ थे, जो युद्ध में जाने के योग्य थे।

buckler מָגֵ֤ן māgēn ma-ɡANE
and sword, וְחֶ֙רֶב֙ ḥereb heh-REV
and to shoot וְדֹ֣רְכֵי dārak da-RAHK
with bow, קֶ֔שֶׁת qešet keh-SHET
and skilful וּלְמוּדֵ֖י lāmad la-MAHD
in war, מִלְחָמָ֑ה milḥāmâ meel-ha-MA
and forty אַרְבָּעִ֨ים ʾarbāʿîm ar-ba-EEM
four וְאַרְבָּעָ֥ה ʾarbaʿ ar-BA
thousand אֶ֛לֶף ʾelep eh-LEF
seven וּשְׁבַע šebaʿ sheh-VA
hundred מֵא֥וֹת mēʾâ may-AH
and threescore, וְשִׁשִּׁ֖ים šiššîm shee-SHEEM
that went out יֹֽצְאֵ֥י yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
to the war. צָבָֽא׃ ṣābāʾ tsa-VA
