फिर भूतकाल में जब शाऊल हमारा राजा था, तब भी इस्राएल का अगुवा तू ही था; और यहोवा ने तुझ से कहा, कि मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल का चरवाहा, और इस्राएल का प्रधान तू ही होगा।

us, thou	אַתָּ֗ה	ʾattâ	ah-TA
wast	הָיִ֛יתָה	hāyâ	ha-YA
he that leddest out	מּוֹצִ֥יא	yāṣāʾ	ya-TSA
and broughtest in	וְהַמֵּבִ֖י	bôʾ	boh
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
Israel:	יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
said	וַיֹּ֨אמֶר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
and the Lord	יְהוָ֜ה	yĕhōwâ	yeh-hoh-VA
	לְךָ֗
to thee, Thou	אַתָּ֨ה	ʾattâ	ah-TA
shalt feed	תִרְעֶ֤ה	rāʿâ	ra-AH
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
my people	עַמִּי֙	ʿam	am
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
Israel,	יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
and thou	וְאַתָּ֛ה	ʾattâ	ah-TA
shalt be	תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה	hāyâ	ha-YA
a captain	לְנָגִ֖יד	nāgîd	na-ɡEED
over	עַל	ʿal	al
